I grew up reading French books, but there was one in particular that I made my identity and it has come back into my awareness. I can’t remember the name, but it was a picture books with each two pages showcasing hundreds of illustrations around a theme: food, travel, home. Similar to Où est Charlie. If you know the name, please do let me know. anyway, my art has been influenced by those tiny seeded passions.

If you zoom in on most of my pieces, you’ll often find little details—treats for your viewing pleasure. Definitely in this one. look around. In ways, I’m limited on my phone and it exacerbates the weakness of my hands. I have to zoom in to create the details, and it’s uncomfortable for my body to squint and twist my hands so repetitively. But then there’s these little things reflected in my art that make me me and I’m blissfully in awe. oh, to be human.
