1) Managed to remotely help spouse & kiddo get on a plane to DC at the very last minute. Decision to boarding in under 2 hours.
2) I get to cat-sit for a few days.
3) Reason for the rush was not good - MIL had a small stroke in with those TIAs - but at least we were able to afford getting the two ladies across the continent to be with her.
