I dunno if they upgraded something but National Highways now seem to be using mixed case on their variable message signs, and holy shit it's a lot more readable

turns out "A1(M) CLOSED AFTER A420 WHATEVERSHIRE" gives you a headache and takes a bit to go in, but "A1(M) closed after A420 Whatevershire" just gets read at line rate
