Hey, thanks for the input. Most of us are still trying to stay no violent and use the American democratic system via the midterm. He’s going to try to fuck with that, but I think we need to see democracy fail at the state level ballot boxes before we have to say non violence isn’t working. There have been many protests, many people have been accused or detained because of these, many Americans are doing things it’s just that America is so fucking huge it’s hard to see them all and the main media is definitely under reporting. If your only definition for America to have woken up is to impeach and remove Trump or begin some kind of rebellion well fine that’s your definition, but I think it’s very wrong to say everyone in the country is just sitting around twiddling their thumbs.

Yeah, something that is often missed in all this “literally all Americans are fucking worthless pieces of shit” rhetoric is that most people just aren’t capable enough to raise a fucking army, coordinate coups, or plan assassinations. But I know a great many Americans who understand what they can do, and that is protecting their neighbors, feeding their communities, and fighting for their families. Many people are sacrificing a great deal to ensure the safety of those who are otherwise targeted. The one’s that aren’t were never going to do anything to begin with, but to say nothing is being done is an insult to those who are working tirelessly to help people survive this shit every day.
