@JimsPhotos@ohai.social the trouble is that they eat all kinds of plants. Anything with a starchy root. Lilies, campanula, etc. but by far the thing they like the most is tulips.
I once planted tulips in a bed protected by hardware cloth everywhere except on top. The darned voles came over the ground and cleaned them out from the top! Hundreds of bulbs! Gone!

@deepmud@mas.to Maybe you should plant potatoes? Or Jerusalem artichokes? They contain a lot of starch. Then your voles ๐ช๐ could become the strongest ones for miles around. @JimsPhotos@ohai.social
