RE: https://mastodon.social/@mrmasterkeyboard/116980326641813344 It is easy to programmatically detect and filter a list of repos by their license. Heck, GitHub has a search filter for it. These companies are just *choosing* not to do this and instead are expecting opt-out rather than opt-in (i.e. *actual consent*) because it's more "convenient" for them. I need to think through the nuanced issues that might arise from me pulling my code from GitHub.
