We will have to spend energy to fight it which derails us from building better to save us. We will do this in much worse conditions, with less food and water to go around, more illness, more death.
We are facing a runaway problem. We must collectively, globally, stand together to protect the earth, or everything will die and we CAN fight it now. We might not be able to later. It will be a very difficult task to fix later.

@JoBlakely@mastodon.social a small pièce de résistance in my home town is the large amount of bicycles in use. A small but substantial aid to changing peoples attitude. We are very aware of the climate catastrophe here and present the town as such. Our main road has been transformed into pedestrian, already took place a few years ago. It is inviting to take a stroll 😁 @MarkHoltom@mastodonapp.uk
