@ariadne@social.treehouse.systems It happens infrequently enough that I don't mind it. It also seems to be the only way that any "learning" about a user is implemented. That said, the fact that there's an /explore tab on the web interface and it doesn't actually seem to be correlated to popularity (despite the description of the feature) kind of puts paid to the idea that there is no "algorithm" here. Well, I assume it's a semi-curated list, but because it's syndicated to most instances I've looked at, it's dodgy to say "no algorithm" or "not centralised." Should we have a Mastodonian Jihad over this?
