Now we can see the crime scene more clearly.
It is tempting to just pull up the seven flipped wires, flip them back and recrimp it.
You risk not getting a good connection. I would recommend pulling the whole thing out and trimming the cable, but you do you.

It is literally impossible to cut a ribbon cable straight so draw a reference. Don't bother replying saying you've done it I will not believe you.
