@rconti@c.im @caseyliss@mastodon.social Sometimes (maybe other brands) market it as such but bottle locally. Anyway I’m still happier with glass bottles than plastic ones, for the recyclability. Also when buying soft drinks it’s invariably better tasting in glass.

@whophd@ioc.exchange Agreed on the taste of soda in glass vs plastic. Soda in plastic bottles is the worst taste of all possible options. When I do have to buy a bottle of water, I’m fairly agnostic on material. Those aluminum bottles are pretty decent and reusable but I’m not convinced they’re particularly recyclable with the plastic tamper rings they mold into them. I reuse the plastic ones a bit, but they’re pretty crappy. I’ve generally avoided the glass ones, probably due to availability and price, but they’re certainly more pleasant to use and reuse for a few days. (Weight aside). @caseyliss@mastodon.social
