the PC cabling standard allows for only two on a cable, the other two would have had to be on the external connector, which was pretty rare to encounter

@RueNahcMohr@infosec.exchange @foone@digipres.club I use the shugart pinout to fit three floppy drives in my WeazleBox but the downside is they want to all turn their motors on at the same time, but that's really only a minor annoyance
