It did have a really cool idea of mind-control that stuck with me regarding said inter dimensional parasite. It would infect someone andake them WANT to serve it, rather than just overpowering their faculties. That's still my favorite type of mind control, much more interesting than simple domination.

Like when they turned a main character with the defining trait of being a hacker who sucks at combat into a combatant who never hacks in-between seasons. It was a show that my whole family watched weekly when it was airing. Good memories.
