it occurs to me that because this handle is trivially linked to my professional identity i should probably behave accordingly. but, counterpoint, i don’t think someone else’s inability to understand code switching should be my problem? (note the “should”; i understand it could very well be my problem anyway. also, “professional identity”? weird way to think about “name.” except, ya know, i have Feelings about that.)
