@Brad_Rosenheim@climatejustice.social hey, I can go three ways defending this:
- parents, or organizers, so not the G/T kids
- dyslexia is orthogonal to giftedness
- slide made at Late a.m., night before. By someone with a tbd list like a cvs receipt. Who ain’t getting paid. Whose co-volunteers let them down. I’m that last bit — we adhd types routinely commit but fail to finish.

@cascheranno@hachyderm.io I agree with your third point, the most likely. Those students will eat the teachers alive though! They are merciless in those classes. As for the first point, definitely not the students fault, but will they get what they need from this program if all staff have inadequate pay and nearly impossible laundry lists to complete their multiple tasks everyday? Second point, yes - many of these students have trouble with spelling. For sure.
