@AlaskaWx @alaskan.social @ZLabe @fediscience.org You are, of course, correct. I forgot about the years when there was less ice at this time of the year. From your link, it seems that 2012 had slightly less ice than 2026, even though it looks like 2026 has less ice in the graph.
