I've had a bunch of emails from French companies and organisations over the past week or so allowing me to opt out if email tracking pixels. Has France just implemented some EU directive or something? I use Fair Email that blocks tracking cookies even when you allow remote content though. If you use it, think about bunging the developer some cash, it's great.
