@eteryu@infosec.exchange Interessanter Artikel. Ich bin aktuell erstmal wieder mit dem modifizierten (Shizuku/Canvas) Stock Android unterwegs. Nutze Nuki SmartLock und Opener. Aber da ist die Funktion Auto Unlock trotz Google Dienste und allen Freigaben nicht möglich. Die automatische Standort Aktualisierung funktioniert nicht zuverlässig.

@hagentietze@social.tchncs.de Thanks for reading and for the comment! To be honest, I don't know much about the Nuki app myself, so I'm no expert here. But from what I know about Android, this kind of automated background stuff usually breaks because of aggressive battery saving. A good place to start troubleshooting is checking the battery settings. Try going to Settings -> Apps -> Nuki (and maybe Google Play Services too) -> Battery and switch it to "Unrestricted". Also, double-check that its location permission is set to "Allow all the time" with "Precise location" on. Android loves to freeze apps in the background, and this usually wakes them up.
