One of the things that became clear in the yearlong investigation we released yesterday at @DomainTools@infosec.exchange is that the UAE is a committed partner to money laundering of all sorts.
So Binance is now routing law enforcement requests through the UAE government, naturally.

When you see one week that the Central Bank of Iran is specifically looking for partners to convert Iranian rials to UAE dirhams, and the next week that there's suddenly a flourishing of Dubai startups doing dirham-backed stablecoins, it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to really get it.
