@ai6yr@m.ai6yr.org Oh, I just read underlying article. I often listen to ATC when I'm on a plane, & I've been flying into SNA for SFC's Vizio case hearings. That mess btw SNA, LAX, the Center at Van Nuys is out of control, particularly w/ small aircraft owned by wealthy people (so many such in LA-area). I heard a pilot arguing with ATC about how his passenger wanted a runway at SNA *right now*. ATC correctly told them keep the holding pattern, & clear the channel unless they wanted “a number to call”.
