@Siiin@pagan.plus @ira@beige.party honestly, one of the funniest things I ever discovered in academia (though I only got as far as a bachelor's) was how there isn't even just one grammatical standard to hold people to for punctuation or anything else. It depends entirely on what "style manual" you want to follow. So I just use punctuation however I want, & if someone has a particular style expectation for a thing I'm writing then we can work that out in editing.
