Related anecdote: Yesterday we went to a shop that we are very loyal to but haven't been to in years. I had given them a little coaster-sized painting of their shop cat back in 2022 for Christmas, and even though they changed locations, they still kept the painting I did at their desk in the new shop 🥹 A good reason to keep making things
