@Ahmetkilic@mastodon.social @oldrawgabbit@mastodon.world QR codes are too simple a way to get malware on your phone since you can't really see what it's doing until too late using them is a gift to scammers, don't normalize this i come from a place (Louisiana) with a strong culture of corruption, if you don't that's great but as a tourist i'm not gonna shed habits that protect my phone used for things like 2FA/financial security to make life cheaper for a restaurant owner
