I think food gardening depends a lot on luck. With the right combination of plant+spot+local (micro)climate+how often you water your plants, you can almost accidentally end up with a huge amount of whatever you’re growing. And then you can invest all the money you saved on food into one (1) trendy stock, cryptocoin etc. and make cents out of dollars.
