Former NYPD Lt. Edwin Raymond on Race, Quotas, and the Future of the NYPD Mamdani just appointed Raymond as NY Sheriff (I didn't even know NYC had sheriffs). Since the NYT article is paywalled hard, I wanted to see what his background is.
