I'm curious about becoming #vegitarian but I don't want to eat plant based meat (no shade, it just feels like I'm "pretending" to eat meat). Does anyone have any suggestions or recipes?
Edit: I will take anything that makes beans taste better lol. I have access to a kitchen. Prefer foods that are native to the East Coast of the US. Traditional "peasant food" from around the world is also welcome. I can't handle a lot of spicy but that won't stop me from trying.

@Ribby@masto.colonelkrud.com Have a look at two cookbooks - Ten Talents (You may find it on archive.org or buy a physical copy) which was written by Seventh Day Adventists so one has to see past that as well as - The Vegetarian Epicure book 2 which covers vegetarian cooking across several culinary cultures
