I'm not a customer to the AI industry. They'll go bankrupt and there will be interesting fallout.
Having lived through the dot com boom before I feel jaded.

@troed@swecyb.com @bdf2121cc3334b35b6ecda66e471@mastodon.social @bagder@mastodon.social I think the major concern is that the companies will be bailed out, because most of the economic growth in the last 1.5 years was based on them. You can cancel a subscription, but you can't cancel the increased taxes and defunding of even more social services due to that money being redirected to help poor OpenAI stay afloat.
