every Brother printer I've had - issue count: maybe 1 or 2 ever, and were very easy to fix.
every other brand printer I've had - issue count: god knows, fucking god knows

anyway, now that I've done the sin of gushing about a brand, this is where I get a reply telling me they're a terrible company, aren't I? I mean, I have no idea, I've never looked into them, but uh, i'll do that now brb
