I guess the other thing with Luxon and National is any decision to form a coalition with Top may not be solely up to them. I suspect Winston would be as enthusiastic about being in govt with Top as he was with the Greens.
It was NZF that kept the Greens outside of cabinet in the first Ardern govt.

@jeremy_pm@mastodon.nz I have a pet theory that there was particular animosity towards the McGillicuddies amongst the Greens. (Bad blood from the 93 by-election) To the best of my knowledge there aren't any former McGillicuddies prominent in Opportunities. @va2lam@mastodon.nz @BobLefridge@mastodon.nz
