The "market share" of Linux in desktop computers seems to have grown significantly in the recent years. Although Linux usage on the desktop is still in single digits, this is the first time Microsoft Windows desktop marketshare has ever been eroded to this extent.

Releasing a widely disliked operating system, Windows 11, combined with the ever-increasing viability of Linux as an alternative has sure played a role. Microsoft Windows in general has become less and less relevant over the years. 16/21 #linux #windows #windows11
