@joxean@mastodon.social I have “operated” one, but most successfully as 2 CV inputs for other synths. I cheaped out and got an OpenTheremin v4. Grounding and power supply quality are really really important to get any decent sound from it, and even then it still sounds quite noisy, and muddy, as if badly filtered/EQ’d. As for the technique, well, I don’t have the patience to learn it anymore, so I am content with strings and keys and drums instead.
