@thomholwerda@exquisite.social Xiaomi also introduced their new microkernel-based HyperOS. From what I can tell, it is available in Europe as I keep seeing news and reviews of HyperOS 3+ devices here on fedi in non-English European languages. Their microkernel is supposedly a version of Apache's NuttX, so that makes me wonder how much of Xiaomi's stack could be assembled from open source.
