@dtgeek@mastodon.social Sometimes I wonder if Musk has spent the last quarter century nursing a grudge over the way the X->PayPal thing went down. Other times I'm sure of it.

As I said about cryptocurrency, if you want an alternative to using big banks, one already exists: credit unions. They do most of the same things as banks, but are nonprofit (so won't interest the likes of Elon Musk).
