Living wage for Hawaii: $31/hr.
Minimum wage: $16/hr.
A friend's daughter manages a GameStop fulltime for $24,000 per year salary.
That calculates (using my suspect math) to $12/hr.
And people wonder why their kids are still living at home.
Stupid economy!

@dancingtreefrog@mastodon.social it’s very ridiculous how bad wages are. But for your friend’s daughter: the local Jack in the Box in Honolulu (off Ward) has an ad for $60k/year for a manager job. Maybe worth a shot?
