I usually make this salsa with serrano chiles so there's actually more of a bite, but I wasn't able to find any good serranos to grow this year. The jalapeños are very tasty, but it's lacking a bit of oomph I think.
Then again I am an insufferable spice lord, so this is probably plenty spicy for most.
