Now that sounds all manly, and burp and fart....but...a TDI gets INSANE gas mileage. It just sips it like tea. I'll get an electric VW when I'm in Europe, but sadly, electric infrastructure, especially here in Texas, has pretty much intentionally been hobbled to where it's not useful.
