Request for info by my #union to ask my department for pay, raises & bonuses has been sitting with no response since May.
I get that the union has some heavy lifting to do but I’ve got evidence that management is blocking our reclassifications, promotions & pay equity increases.
As a dues paying member, I just fired off a fiery yet professional email, not just to my union rep who oversees my unit, but to the Secretary-Treasurer & the President of our union. 1/2 #unionstrong

Sometimes, being a bitch is the only way I get taken seriously. I don’t know if it’s because I seem friendly or if it’s because I’m short… but it gets on my tits. I got an immediate email that the Sec-Tresurer will follow up on this. This is actionable so something better start moving. 2/2 #union #unionstrong
