Things I hate about Windows:
- You "Save as" something
- It has a name
- You absentmindedly click on one of the files in the window
- Now the name is whatever you clicked on
- Your name is lost. Was it 32 digits of arbitrary hexidecimal? Too bad
EDIT: MacOS doesn't have this problem because after overwriting the file you can CTRL-Z

@mcc@mastodon.social There's a stupid workaround: type a path into the text box (must be different from current) and press Enter – when the box switches to the new path, it'll restore the original file name.
