Hi 🩷 does anyone know of freelance or even training opportunities for young developers in Gaza? There’s a very enterprising student looking to make and sell apps, but there are geo-specific barriers to doing it through app stores for Palestinians, unfortunately.

@divya@sunny.garden there are very few employment opportunities unfortunately in Gaza itself (meaning “on contract with an employer”). But several UN agencies are slowly trying to put together some programs for enterpreneurs to help kickstart something that resembles a local industry again. An example: https://www.syfpal.org/ar/post/183 I think that the best at this moment is to get in touch with UN representatives on the ground, as they have more insights into which programs are being opened.
