@simonzerafa@infosec.exchange my specific concern is that a lot of them are run by one or two people in their spare time and if they suddenly get a boatload of vulnerability reports that they can't handle/get frustrated with.

@jerry@infosec.exchange Aye. Seems like the admin side is way more complex than perhaps it could be. Would be good if administration and maintenance would get some love for ease of use features from the devs.

@jerry@infosec.exchange Not certain there only needs to be a worry for the alternatives though? Main Mastodon project are AI-haters and thus I don't expect them to be very proactive in this new cybersec reality we find ourselves in. @simonzerafa@infosec.exchange
