Anybody else find the word necromancer incredibly funny and satisfying? Like, first of all, it sounds like neck romancer, which is a great pun in of itself. But wait: there's more! Consider how, if said in certain dialects, the necro part sounds a lil bit like nec' roll, which is patently shorthand for roll for necromancy, and neck roll. Somewhere out there, somewhen, a very confused DM will look down at a player's game sheet, find that they've scribbled out something and written nec in its place, and confusingly saying something like: Ok. I'm gonna need you to roll for... nec...??? ... only for the player to start rolling their head around their neck :BlobCatGiggle: Brings a whole new concept to mind when necroing a post :SmugRelievedFace:
