In all seriousness, I was on Long Island earlier this weekend, and people there have very strong opinions on the current mayor of NYC
People who never had strong opinions on the previous mayor, a guy who did nothing but take bribes from the Turkish government

There are people who think New York City was a safer place under Rudy Giuliani, and you cannot tell these people that homicide rates were literally 100% higher in that guy's best year than it is today (I don't believe these statistics have much to do with mayors, but here we are...)
