@Bette@mstdn.social I like Jasmine Crockett, but had Abbott not monkeyed with her Congressional district, she'd still be in the House. I believe trump wanted Abbott to get her out because she is smart as a whip and holds the other side to task. That said, I believe James Talarico has the ability to attract some white Repubs and Dems, which should give us a chance to get a Democrat in as Senator of Texas.
