So, the suspect was killed when Police tried to arrest him.
The cause? He attacked a policeman with a knife, the policeman then shot him "in self defense".
I have ... questions.
But two things: German police is trained to not kill a suspect but wound them, preferably shooting at their legs. This is SOP in Germany. Only in absolute emergency situation where there is absolutely no other option is left is it allowed to kill a suspect. And even then, there is always a thorough investigation afterwards.
This is now so convenient, no? Because all investigations against that person are now stopped (German law) and the crime "has been resolved."
I am afraid we will never find out who was the actual perpetrators and why.
