U.S. #police are really into #media and they involve themselves deeply with all aspects of mainstream entertainment. They feel like heroes and they want their activities to be seen as heroic. As a result the cops aren't good at telling the difference between genuine suspense and drab police chatter about "suspects" and such.

Oh-hoh, The Beginning of the End is directly tackling the issue of media relationships with the police! And jeez look what happened, a journalist exercising her professional curiosity in the public interest has just gotten shut down by the police. #Monsterdon
