Unfortunate that nobody at the scene had a device which could be used to record images for later viewing, which could have been used to verify to the colonel that the problem was indeed a giant grasshopper

"Grasshoppers are good eatin'!" Yeah, farmed grasshoppers can be. Wild grasshoppers tend to be quite bitter, and there's a strong risk of pinworms. #Monsterdon #BeginningOfTheEnd
