Saga of the fallen tree branch continues.
Went out and cleaned up all the small leaves and branches. That filled up the yard waste bin. The AQI was getting worse so glad I got it done.
Talked to the neighbor. Told him my insurance idiots call a falling branch an "act of god" and it should be covered by his home owners insurance.
He's not happy about that. Said he now has to find his insurance info. 🤷

@Jason844@mastodon.social Most home insurance policies have a 1% or 2% deductible, so he'll probably have to pay the entire amount out of pocket anyway. And if he files for any amount they'll jack up the rate next year bc he'll lose his no claims discount. 😞
