i just thinked about something there is literally no difference between Claude Code and Google Translate (yes including the one from before the current AI bubble) they are fundamentally the same thing, with the same goals Claude Code attacks your ability to program computers, stops you from learning programming and makes you dependent on a cloud service to operate your computer Google Translate attacks your ability to communicate with other cultures, stops you from learning new languages and makes you dependent on a cloud service to understand what people say in both cases the result produced by the machine is low-quality slop that is frequently full of errors and nonsense, but often gets the job done, thus asking the corporate robot becomes a viable alternative to actually learning things
