THE MUPPETS The Muppet Movie (Original Soundtrack Recording) 1979 Canada pressing The Muppets were a pivotal part of my childhood. From The Muppet Show to the subsequent movies, those characters and songs are tattooed on my heart and soul forever. Until today, it was the only soundtrack of the initial run of movies (Movie, Caper, Manhattan, Christmas Carol) that I didn’t own on vinyl. Regardless of how you feel about The Muppets, this is worth owning solely for Paul Williams’ “Rainbow Connection”, just a stunningly beautiful song regardless of how old you are. An even bigger bonus is that this was a used copy that STILL had the movie poster inside of it. They’re almost always missing.
