It sounds like running a Windows VM on your Mac might be the easiest option. An exe requires Windows. It’s a lot easier to simulate a Windows machine than to get a physical one. That said, going from nothing to a working VM isn’t always light work.

True. I’ve done VMs when I used Windows back in the day. They really weren’t that hard to set up, if you’re comfortable installing Windows. As someone who used to build computers… I used to reinstall Windows all the time.
