@adhdeanasl@beige.party I am sighted but Alt text is often helpful to me. Some pictures just don't make sense until I read the Alt text. And German comics make sense when I translate the Alt text.

@SecondUniverse@autistics.life @adhdeanasl@beige.party I am the same. I often miss a lot of references or don't know who a person is in an image and alt text can help me understand it. Or sometimes I have trouble figuring out why the picture is included, what I am supposed to be focusing on and alt text can really help with that. I use the Perkins School for the Blind tips if someone asks me (a librarian) about doing better alt text.
